Description of the Position:
The Inventory Manager is responsible for implementation and monitoring of compliance with operational
procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and
disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current. The inventory Manager is also
responsible for managing one or more hourly associates and temporary workers in accordance with the
organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities:
• Promotes a safe environment for the customer’s product, associates, and temporary
workers.
• Writes and responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and operations.
• Advises management on the appropriate resolution of operating issues.
• Provides 100% customer satisfaction.
• Builds a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates.
• Follows and implements all AIM procedures for the facility.
• Helps maintain a tour ready facility.
• Follows the Sundown policy.
• Monitors daily compliance to safety procedures.
• Investigate accidents and prepares reports.
• Provides on-the-job coaching and training needed to ensure associate skills are maintained
at desired levels.
• Supports the coordination of floor space and work flow schemes.
• Cross trains associates as needed to maximize associate effectiveness.
• Assist in coordinating OS&D claims.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance
when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.
